Von Platon wurde mit über Theo vor einiger Zeit dieser Bericht übersandt.
Hab' ihn jetzt erst wiederentdeckt.

MAYA was going from Pireus to the Dardanelles in company with the Romanian motorvessel BALCIC and escorted by torpedobot SIRIO, when she was torpedoed by the submarine HMS PERSEUS at 0833/5.9.1951 in 39°45'N 25°51'E or about 5 miles SW of Tenedos (German documents indicate the time of 0745 and the position 2 miles S of Tenedos. The SIRIO finished off the MAYA with gunfire and rescued 22 survivors (1 was killed).
