I am sorry that I am writing in English, but because so many of you Germans speak and read such good English, I thought I would give it a try first (Ich lese Deutsch, deswegen koennen Sie auf Deutsch antworten). From an American veteran, I recently acquired a large Bootswache book covering the period of 27. Juli 1942 - 11. Oktober 1943. There are many handwritten details about Flugbetriebsboote, Fl.C. 3007, 3009, 3119, 356, 358, 359, which apparently operated from Cherbourg, France. I want to see this book get into the right hands and hope someone can help.
