Aus "Weekly Naval Notes" (via WLB/BfZ):

"On the night of 13th/14th July H.M. M.T.B.s 458, 467, 457, 468, 469, 470 and 455 were given freedom of action between Egmond and The Hook. At 0130 three enemy trawlers were detected west of Ijmuiden. Weather conditions were very unfavourable; our boats could not attack with gunfire and had to pass the enemy on a southerly course in order later to approach the traget with a following sea ans attack with torpedoes. This was carried out with great determination at 0203 and one enemy ship was sunk. Return fire from enemy ships and shore batteries was heavy. Three M.T.B.s sustained slight damage in action and a fourth slight damage from weather. Two ratings were killed and one officer and three ratings were wounded."
