Thomas: Sometimes mentioned in the sources tug KRAFT was in reality at that time burning at the pier after being bombed by Liberators from VIII Bomber Command (she sunk on 23rd from the damages sustained on 21st). NIKOLAUS was moved by 3 R-boots: R-161, R-198 and R-200. In the report by Lt.z.S. Trieb R-161 reported torpedo coming straight below the R-boot and then hitting NIKOLAUS. So the tug claimed by DZIK to be sunk was in reality R-161 and it was not sunk - torpedo just passed under.

Thank you Jan-Olof - good find. Indeed it is about the other vessel as DZIK attacked 2 targets with 4 torpedoes (2 for each target). At 16.32 first unidentified target (KT-19?) and 16.36 NIKOLAUS at Bastia harbor (torpedo went under R-161). After the attack DZIK was haunted by UJ 2209, R-161 and R-200.
