Good evening Gentlemen,

I begh your pardon for the English. Mr. E. Sieche wrote, in Conway's All the World's Fighting ships 1906-1921, ed. 1986, page 339, that some A.H. torpedo boats of the Kaiman sea-going class "...survived, althought some boats were badly damaged after collisions or mining".

I would be interested about the names of these ships and if there were other mining accidents.

In fact all 24 Austrian-Hungarian torpedoboats of the KAIMAN-type survived the war:

KAIMAN, 50E
1920 to Great Britain, broken up in Italy

ANACONDA 51T
The boat received a torpedo hit from the French submarine PAPIN on 09.09.1915, losing its bow until the boiler room (3 dead, 14 missed, 5 wounded)! After repairs at Pola the boat was commissioned again on 08.12.1915. At the end of war under repair at Pola.
1920 to Great Britain, broken up in Italy

ALLIGATOR 52T
The bow of the boat was heavily damaged on 01.05.1914 during a wrong manoever at Pola. On 26.09.1916 the explosion of an enemy mine near Rogoznica killed 3 men onboard of 52T and 3 more onboard of 66F. On 17.10.1919 beached at Bai Castelli near Spalato and sunk on 07.11.1920, later raised und broken up in Italy.

KROKODIL 53T
1920 to Great Britain, broken up in Italy

WAL 54T
On 19.06.1918 the boat had a collision with the steamer SZEGED and was repaired at Pola until 28.08.1918.
1920 to Yugoslawia as T12, broken up in 1928

SEEHUND 55T
1920 to Great Britain, broken up near Vallelunga

DELPHIN 56T
1920 to Great Britain, broken up in Italy

NARWAL 57T
The boat was beached on 29.12.1908 at the south coast of the island Lesina and later repaired at Pola. On 22.12.1916 received a bomb hit at the bow, stationed at Pola (6 wounded).
1920 to Great Britain, broken up

HAI 58T
The boat rammed a coal lighter at Sebenico on 12.01.1917 and received some damages at the bow. On 13.06.1918 a bomb near hit caused 15 wounded crew members and some damages.

The boat was heavyly damaged by its own submarine hunting device, when the Italian submarine BALILLA was sunk by 65F and 66F on 17.01.1916. The repair was done at Pola until september 1916. On 12.05.1918 the boat suffered some damages, when it grounded at the canal of Sabbioncello. It was repaired at Fiume.

On 28.02.1916 the boat rammed the quai at Rovigno, which made some repairs necessary. On 26.09.1916 3 men were killed, when an enemy mine exploded in the bay of Kakola near Rogoznica.

The boat was rammed by the steamer VODICE on 17.09.1918 and was heavyly damaged (1 wounded). Repairs took place at Pola.

I beg your pardon, but were there other mine accidents to other A.H. Torpedo boats, destroyers or men-of-war?

I was able to find only:

Tb 26, Lika, Troglaw, U12, U 10 and U 5 (later recovered)

FLAMINGO Tb26
On 23.08.1914 the boat hit an own mine east of the line Porer - Peneda at 02.30 o´clock, but sunk not before 03.30 o´clock (11 dead).

WILDFANG
The boat hit an enemy drifting mine at 04.06.1917 at 01.29 o´clock 24 nm westof Peneda and sunk within 13 minutes (25 dead, 7 wounded).

LIKA (I)
The boat sunk after two mine hits near Durazzo on 29.12.1915, about 08.00 o´clock.

TRIGLAV (I)
The boat received a mine hit on 29.12.1915 at 08.10 o´clock near Durrazzo. It was towed by CSEPEL, later TATRA and BALATON, but scuttled at 13.30 o´clock, when enemy units closed the distance.
