Thanks for your feedback Urs  . I'm not sure if I will buy this new kit but no doubt more issues will appear once one has a close look at the parts and building instructions. I must say though that Italeri's S-38 kit was already much better than their first S-100 one.

I agree it's a good-looking kit.  They are just "overdoing" the outer appearance
