Hi All,

At the time of the (failed) attack by HMS Trident, Gerda Toft was escorted by the Italian destroyer Turbine, Italian torpedo boat Monzambano and the German auxiliary submarine chaser UJ 2104.

They had departed the Dardanelles around 0700B/7 together with the tanker Wilhelmsburg and one additional escort, the German auxiliary submarine chaser UJ 2102. Wilhelmsburg had been sunk by HMS Rorqual shortly after the convoy had formed up. UJ 2102 had remained behind to hunt the attacker.

Gerda Toft, Turbine, Monzambano and UJ 2104 arrived at Piraeus around 0810B/8.
