a) weiß jemand, was auf den in der UniBibliothek Wien vorhandenen Mikrofilmrollen der NARA-Serie
T821 Collection of Italian Military Records, 1935-1943 enhalten ist?

Die Serie hat wohl 508 Rollen, in Wien sind wohl die
Rollen Nr. 248, 249, 251, 252, 348, 350 - 353, 355, 361, 365, 368, 483, 495 verfügbar.
b) Zweite Frage:
Gibt es die wohl dreibändigen Findbücher zu dieser Serie in elektronischer Form?

Laut https://www.archives.gov/publications/finding-aids/guides.html (https://www.archives.gov/publications/finding-aids/guides.html) sollen die 3 Findbücher bei NARA nur vorhanden sein als Microfilm Publikation T94.

Unfortunately not all the documents were kept in Rome. Some were transfered to North Italy by RSI personnel and were then lost (for example many documents regarding the destroyer SPALATO, ex SPLIT and some regarding AQUILA, the corvettes, the converted TRITONE submarine as SLC carrier, etc....) :(

Not naval, but some of the stuff is very good, it includes combat reports from Ariete in North Africa, and daily reports from Superaereo (air force high command) including the daily activity reports they received from OB Süd.

Mein Kollege von der FB Zeitgeschichte hat mir kurz vor Weihnachten Folgendes bestätigt:

Leider ist der FB-Leiter noch im Urlaub und ich konnte ihn daher nicht befragen, ob er eine Ahnung hat, ob eine elektronische Form der Findbücher vielleicht irgendwo zumindest angedacht ist.
Aber wenn ich weiß, wonach ich suchen, Ausschau halten sollte in der Printversion oder in den vorhandenen Rollen, dann kann ich gerne einmal nach dem 10. 1. der FB am Campus Altes AKH einen Besuch abstatten und eventuell mit Scans, Fotos o. ä. dienen! Wir freuen uns zwar immer über persönliche Besuche an allen Standorten, aber 'in Zeiten wie diesen' sind die halt doch nicht so angesagt...

Deine PDF-Datei hat 31 Seiten, ist wohl ein "Content" & "Index", während die Guids drei Bände mit zusammen ca. 450 Seiten sein sollen und ein "Inhaltsverzeichnis" darstellten müssten. Auf diese drei Bände wird in Deiner Datei verwiesen:

Zur militärischen Schifffahrt und Operationen auf See finde ich in dem oben genannten Guide nichts.
Oder bin ich blind ?
