Eine feine, weil sehr ausführliche Ergänzung zu den Konvoi-Übersichten auf www.convoyweb.org.uk! :TU:)

es erscheint fast unbegreiflich  :?, aber :wenn man den Report of Proceedings Senior Officer Close Escort on TAY mit dem R/T-Log der TAY vergleicht, erscheint es so, als seien im R/T-Log die Spalten "FROM" und "TO" vertauscht.
Gruß, Urs
Hallo Urs,

Hallo alle, first let me apologize for not writing in German. I am working to learn the language but have a long way to go. My vocabulary consists almost entirely of U-boat and nautical terminology which is great for translating a KTB but would be painful to read. Thank you very much for pointing out the mistake on my website. I rarely get that kind of feedback and I always appreciate it. I have added a note at the top of the page pointing out that the TO and FROM columns are switched in the original document. I will check in more often with this forum both because it will help me with my German and also because there is a lot of information here that will help with projects at the U-boat Archive website. Lately, I am spending most of my time translating U-boat KTBs. I have completed about 30 that are not yet posted to the website. I find this work fascinating and learn with each KTB. Other projects include translating a manual for the Type VII U-boat and transcribing the British "Atlantic Convoy Instructions". Best regards, Jerry
Welcome Jerry
