I am looking for information on the S-boat training establishments and their vessels in 1940. Anybody?

acorrding to Hans Frank, the Schulflottille was officially established July 1st, 1942 (!), with KptLt Opdenhoff in command.

Thank you, I have also found nothing before that but there must have been an established training facility for the S-boat crews. Or did the flotillas train their own assigned personnel? If so, with what equipment did they train them?

Well, I have looked at that Forum and there is an immense amount of information there, if somewhat uncoordinated. I find it difficult to find my way around there but I have not given up yet..... :-D....
