Hallo,
Kennt jemand diese eigenartige Tarnung?
Grüße
Andreas
Moin Andreas,

Hallo,
sorry hätte die Suchfunktion nutzen sollen.

Hello everybody,
very nice photos of Scharnhorst with the Baltic scheme on her, I like them ...... there are other 2 I know of I miss,...but they are in japan now,..and I only have a very small pic of them,....
YES, I must correct now the camouflage patterns, and I have also now a very good view of the other side too ... so if you can send me a good quality pic of those photos Andreas I can work on it.
There are other thinks I have to correct on the Scharnhorst drawings, ..... like the date of the full dark grey colour scheme that was put on the ship probably in the middle of 1942 and not at the end of the year.
Question ; does anybody knows the precise date when Scharnhorst rammed the U -523 on the baltic sea around Stettin area ??? Thanks,....
Bye Antonio :MG:

...in H. Ritschel: "Kurzfassung Kriegstagebücher deutscher U-Boote, KTB U 501 - U 560" ist zu für U 523 finden:
"13.09. - 16.09.42 Hela, Agru-Front, Ausbildung in See. AO 9550 - UW-Kollision mit der Scharnhorst"
Genaueres habe ich leider nicht, vielleicht nutzt aber diese Angabe doch ein wenig.
Mit freundlichen Grüßen
Schorsch
Unglaubliche Bilder,
danke für's Teilen top top
Ciao all,
danke schon Schorsch !!!!

So, between 13 and 16 of September 1942 and not August as was written on some books, ...... very well, .... and now I can declare to everybody that on that precise date the full dark grey camo with white bow and white stern was already painted on the Scharnhorst making training exercises with the U-Boote flotilla were U-523 was part of ( should have been 4th flotilla of Stettin if I remember well what I have read lately ).
In fact, just as a final confirmation, when the Scharnhorst went into the Gotenhafen dry-dock for some hull damage evaluations, you can see that camo painted on her.
.......... danke schon again .... and gruss, Antonio :MG:
Ciao all,
now, since you are so good and cooperative and mostly you do have the KTB of the german warships,... does anybody have the precise date when Scharnhorst did some training on the Baltic sea with some KM light cruisers ?
I particular I am looking for teh date when :
- 1 ) Scharnhorst making sea trials with Emden on autumn 1942.
- 2 ) Scharnhorst making sea trials with Leipzig and Nurnberg on autumn 1942.
Thansk in advance for any input ... Mit freundlichen Grüßen ... Antonio :MG:
