Hallo zusammen,
beim Lesen eines Warship International Heftes aus den 1990ern bin ich auf einen Hinweis zu den sowjetischen Landungsfahrzeugen der MP-10 sowie VYDRA-Klasse, Projekt 106/106K/106U, gestossen:
ZitatDuring 1959-60, the Soviet Union built a limited number (less than 50) of modified German MFP-D landing craft. Known as the MP-10, these vessels differed from the German originals in having a small cargo hold, service by a crane, forward of the bridge. Accordingly, the capacity of the vehicle deck was reduced to one tank or two trucks.

Conway´s... 1947-1982, p. 501 genannt.
Conway´s.... 1947-1995, S. 364:
ZitatProject 106: MP-10/SMB-1; 106K is VYDRA class landing craft.
S. 411f:
ZitatDisplacement: 420 tons full load
Dimensions: 157ft 6in x 16ft 9in x 6ft 6 in / 47.7m x 6.4m x 2.0m
Machinery: 2-shaft diesels, 400bhp = 11kts. Range: 500nm at 8kts
These were monir utility landing craft comparable to the US LCU, but derived from the wartime German MFP-D. MP-10 differed in having a small cargo hold forward of the bridge, served by a crane; the reduced cargo deck held only one tank or two two trucks. The bow ramp sealed the cargo deck; there was no separate cargo door. Total production is not known, but in the late 1970s naval SMB-1 and MP-10 totalled about forty-six. All MP-10 were gone by 1982.
"SMB-1" was a slightly larger open-deck bow ramp commercial beaching craft (1m longer cargo space) built 1960-65; come were operated by the Soviet Navy: 180t standard/300t full load, 159ft 1in x 21ft 4in x 6ft 7in, 48.5m x 6.5m x 6[???]m, 600hp = 10kts, 16 crew. Capacity: 150t or 3 tanks. Five were transferred to Egypt. Fifteen remained in service in 1990.
The successor Project 106K ("VYDRA") MPK-155-166, MPK-168-170, MPK-172-175, MPK-172[???]-217 built 1967-69: 308t standard/442t full load, 178ft 10in x 25ft 3in x 7ft 10in, 54.5m x 7.7m x 2.4m, 1000bhp = 10.5kts, range 2500nm at 10kts. Capacity 100 troops or 200t cargo. Like a US LCU it had an open tank deck. Of fifty-six built in East Germany, nine were left in Russian service in 1992. They were succeeded by the big air-cushion vehicles.
Transfers: ten each to Bulgaria and Egypt; four SMB-1 to Egypt.

Und jetzt die Frage in die Welt:
Gibt es evtl. Monographien oder Bücher oder Links mit ausführlicheren Angaben zu diesen Projekten?
