I was researching (again) German operated small yachts off S. France when I ran across this. Apparently UJ-2211 ( large trawler) and former yacht Sarinette UJ-6091 were sunk by PTs 21 July 1944. I cannot find record of this action in "At Close Quarters."
Does anyone have any information on this? I am looking for images of the Sarinette. She was also known as Sardinette FR-11 in Italian hands and was later Hafenschutzboot F.Se 07

Thanks,

Yes, here are the action reports of 22. UJ-Flottilla. Tell me if you need any help with translations. :O/Y

Thank you. It looks like the Italian article is mistaken and confused the Yacht Sarnia with the Sarinette. Groener's does not list the Sarinette as being sunk by enemy action.
Thanks,
