Hello,
I am looking for information from the German side on the sinking of the armed whaler HMS Thorbryn on 19.08.1941 off Tobruk. She was apparently sunk by Ju 87 (an eyewitness claims it was Ju 88). Can anyone confirm the name of the unit and pilots involved? Any other detail concerning this action is welcome.
Many thanks,
Platon
Es waren Ju87, Quelle ist KTB DAK.
Alles Gute
Andreas
Sehr detailliert ist Ring/Shores, "Luftkampf zwischen Sand und Sonne".
Habe mein Exemplar leider irgendwann mal verkauft. :BangHead:
Thank you Andreas and Thorsten for the information. If you can unearth more details, it will be very appreciated!
Best regards,
Platon
I./StG1 oder II./StG2 ist ziemlich sicher.
Alles Gute
Andreas
Again thank you Andreas for the suggestion.
Best regards,
Platon
