Hello Darius,

I have found no evidence that Oasis was the German Mariaeck at the time of her sinking. She may have been German for a short time but reverted to Vichy to supply Corsica. According to the HMS Torbay report, she was Vichy and this is confirmed from Italian sources (Maricorsica).
