I am wondering if all the data we have will be taken and used by AI. would it be worth still doing more.

Someone asked me a week or so ago, "Why don't you pour all this information into AI and just be done with everything?"

My answer is simple: I just enjoy the quest for information and the piecing together bits of information over years far too much!

I started 40+ years ago sitting in libraries and archives sifting through musty old books and files and using a pencil to take notes. This is my only real hobby and I really enjoy it. Now with the multiple archives coming on-line and access to information increasing exponentially, why would I turn it all over to a computer...

At some point I am going to put up a website for my databases, as I know that will really get information flow, corrections, and updates rolling in....but right now I am too "old school" and not technically proficient enough to even think about hosting a website.

So, for now, I am way more comfortable seeking out data, sorting it, cross-referencing it, and adding the information into my databases manually; no real desire to use AI.
