I am making a huge biography on Konteradmiral Otto Kähler, I plan for a few hundred pages.
I am looking to see if anyone has the name of his parents and a copy of his birth certificate.
Additionally, I am looking for any pictures of him during the Battle of Brest. I have a few photographs, any photographs work — especially while he was in command of the Hilfskreuzer "Thor", any era photographs work.
I have made a previous thread on this subject before but it has been old and I do apologize if this is the wrong topic area.
Additionally, I am looking to see if anyone has his uniform or medals, a number one question I've had.
Any information would help, I would appreciate it heavily and you will be credited accordingly how you wish! :TU:)

Fascinating research project! Otto Kähler's career, especially his command of the auxiliary cruiser Thor, makes him a compelling historical figure. I hope someone in the community can help with details about his family, birth records, photographs from the Brest period, or information on his uniform and decorations

I was able to find it, a very great member of this forum sent me a photo of the birth certificate and I found a picture of his gravesite on findagrave.com, this is one of the best forums I have been on. :-D
