Hello friends,

in the online version of Chronik des Seekrieges 1939-1945 the following text can be found on the page for December 1941, i.e. https://www.wlb-stuttgart.de/seekrieg/41-12.htm

Zitat18.12.1941
Nordmeer
Eine dt. Ju 88 versenkt den sowj. Minensuch-Trawler Navaga (RT-4) bei Vostochnaya Liza.

I suspect that this information is not entirely correct. German sources shows that the attack was made by He 111 from I/KG 26, see attachment (intercepted German communications).

Best regards,

Jan-Olof

Very interesting data! This is Swedish interception?
I know that KG 26 fly to armed recon at the end of 1941, but 1./124 and it's Ju.88 also made it. There was no detailed data about plane type, just "bomber".

Hello Igor,

>Very interesting data! This is Swedish interception?
Yes, intercepted landline communications, mostly between Norway and Germany. The intercepts are available in the Swedish War Archive but as far as I know they have not been digitized.

Best regards,
