Hi, I am interested in HMS Victorious's involvement in the Pedestal Operation in August 1942.
I am looking for her war diary, but I found in UK National Archive only a very thin log ship (ADM 53/116740, see below an example for the August 12th entries).
Do you know if there is a logbook with more details of the actions in which the aircraft carrier was involved?

Hi Temistocle,

a) if you don´t find her war diary, I think you have to take a look in the diaries of superior commands - for a higher perspective on the events. Maybe something like the involved carrier or cruiser or force commands.

b) On https://www.armouredcarriers.com/ there are some documents on Pedestal:

I don`t know much about how the british named it but what you showed looks a lot like a common war diary.

Perhaps searching for action reports would bring up some more details?
