Hi,
I read that the German ships were given battle and prevented the British spend two sabotage operations in the Channel - «Abercrombie» 21/22 April and «Bristle» 3/4 June 1942. There is information that it was for the ships?

At the moment only that at 21./22.4. it were two groups from 38. MS-Flotilla.

On 03./04.06. only Hafenschutzboote HS 36 and HS 204 took directly part in the battle. HS 36 sank and HS 204 was heavily damaged.
Most of the fire that made the british troops to turn back came from land. There are indications that HS 36 was sunk by firendly fire.
12. R-Flotilla watched the battle but was too far away to take part.
Gruß, Thorsten

Forces covering the landing there are four MGB 14th flotilla, but probably not all of them fought with the German ships.
