Hallo Eddy,

danke schön für die Fotos.

a) Auf dem Bild 005 sind links drei Boote der 2. A-Flottille - siehe Wappen am Steuerstand.

b) Das rechte Boot hat dort kein Wappen. Dafür aber ein (+) auf dem vorderen Stand.
Könnte es der 1. A-Flottille angehören? Wobei ich bisher die 1. mit einem anderen Zeichen in Verbindung gebracht habe.

Oder ist es ein taktisches Zeichen innerhalb der 2. A-Flottille?

Thanks a lot for posting these pics Eddy ! The sign on the Steuerstand (circle with cross) was not the unit sign. This pic,  from the same series Eddy seems to have bought, shows that the boat with the circle and cross also had the 2. Artillerieträger Flottille sign :



Other markings on the Steuerstand of some other vessels may suggest these markings were used to identify individual vessels within the Flottille :

a) Die Anmerkung zu den taktischen Zeichen überzeugt mich.
b) Zum Bild 1 muss ich Dir aber widersprechen. Es sind nur 2 Boote, nicht 4 zu sehen. Und die Aufbauten sind deutlich höher, so dass das Wappen höher angebracht ist.
