ERMAK and KAZAKSTAN

recently when I was googling for information regarding Soviet Icebreaker ERMAK I found very interesting information on one of the russian pages where it is written:

К 18 сентября в Мурманске находилось 18 немецких судов, укрывшихся там от британского флота. Все суда и их экипажи (1847 человек) были беспрепятственно переданы Германии [88]. Когда после дозаправки топливом они покидали Мурманск, суда других государств, находившиеся там же, были специально задержаны до тех пор, пока немецкие суда не оказались в полной безопасности [89]. И это полностью соответствовало ранее высказанному пожеланию немецкой стороны "выпуск пароходов других национальностей из Мурманска производить не ранее 8-10 часов после ухода каждого немецкого судна", так как "иностранные пароходы, следуя за немецкими судами, могут выдать их местонахождение английским военным кораблям" [90]. Спустя неделю последовала просьба о снабжении теплой одеждой команд германских судов, находящихся в Мурманске [91]. Впрочем, сотрудничество отнюдь не носило одностороннего характера. Советская сторона, в свою очередь, обращалась за содействием к ВМФ Германии, когда речь шла о переводе ледокола "Ермак" и парохода "Казахстан" из Мурманска в Ленинград [92] или переходе через Кильский канал турбоэлектрохода "Иосиф Сталин", построенного в Голландии и направлявшегося в Ленинград [93].

Can anyone tell me what escort was given by Kriegsmarine (if any!) to ERMAK and KAZAKSTAN?! Any details about their trip from Murmansk to Leningrad?! (I'm aware about hunting of Finnish subs on ERMAK!)

And this completely corresponded to the previously expressed wish of German side "the release of the steamships of other nationalities of Murmansk to produce not earlier than 8-10 it was hour after the withdrawal of each German vessel", since "foreign steamships, following the German vessels, can give out their location to English warships" [ 90 ]. After the week followed the request about the supply with the warm clothing of the commands of German it was ship, that are located in Murmansk [ 91 ]. However, collaboration by no means bore one-sided nature. Soviet side, in turn, was turned for the assistance to VMF of Germany, when the discussion dealt with the transfer of the ice-breaker "ermak" and of steamship "Kazakhstan" from Murmansk to Leningrad [ 92 ] or the passage through the Kiel Canal of turboelektrokhoda "Joseph Stalin", built in Holland and been sent to Leningrad [ 93 ].
