Hello Platon,

yes the CD has got those infos (total and not per cent) and much else. Actually it's an improved version of the paper ediction.

I will check my datas. I agree about the kindness of the Ufficio Storico della Marina Militare personnel. They are great.

   Bye

Enrico

Hello Enrico,

Can you please give me the total of torpedoes fired and hit for the war with Italy in Hezlet's CD version? I would be interested to compare with my data.
By the way, another correction to your list, BARON ERSKINE was not hit by a torpedo, just one round of gunfire.

Many thanks,

Platon

Hi Enrico - could you please tell me where I can buy this CD?

Cheers,

Hello Crolick,

the Hezlet CD was bought at the Royal Navy Submarine Museum of Gosport. The graphichs are the source of the datas until 31 Aug. 1943 (and the few actions until 8 Sept. 1943 can be completed using Rohwer's Allied Submarine Attacks on WW Two in ETO).

     Greetings

       Enrico

I sent an email with the correction of U 340's fate to the webmaster of uboat.net.
Let's see if he answers.

The fate of U 340 on uboat.net is now corrected. ;)
Gruß, Thorsten
