Tirpitz Arado 196 hangar carts

Hello everybody,

My question is related to the cart used on board the Tirpitz to move the Arado 196 from the hangars to the catapult launching support thru the rails on the deck.

Does anybody have a technical drawing of those carts ?

Just to avoid misunderstandings, I do not intend the frame support used on the catapult to launch the Arado 196, I only mean the special cart used to move the Arado  from the hangars to that catapult support using the 4 rails as showed on the attached models and drawings.

Any help is welcome of course.

Hi Antonio,
versuche es mal zu erklären.
Folgendes der Versetzwagen wurde  auf der Drehscheibe die auf dem Katapult stand geschoben. Die Drehscheibe lief auf dem Gestell-Rahmen des Katapults.

Der Versetzwagen wurde über die Gleise bewegt bis zur Drehscheibe, dieser dann auf der Scheibe gesetzt. Der Versetzwagen lief dann auf inliegenden Schiene der Ummantelung des Katapultes mit.
Bei den Startvorbereitungen wurde das Flugzeug gedreht (deswegen Drehscheibe) anschließend durch die Versetzkräne angehoben, die Kompination Versetzwagen/Drehscheibe weggezogen, dann wurde das Flugzeug auf den Startschlitten gesetzt.
Flügel ausgeklappt, fertig zum Start.

now more than a beer, ... I need to pay you an entire dinner I see ...  with enourmous pleasure ....

As far as I have understood you said that the 90 degree turn movement was associated to the catapult track and was not part of the cart itself  ( I am assuming cart=versetzwagen ), so the rotation mechanism was into the catapult track ( Der Versetzwagen wurde über die Gleise bewegt bis zur Drehscheibe, dieser dann auf der Scheibe gesetzt ).

Once having rotated 90 degrees, than the cart run to the catapult launching support frame I attach here ( what is his name in German language ? ). 

Still I need the drawing of the Versetzwagen, this is what I miss for a friend of mine making a diorama on 1/72 scale of Tirpitz midship with the Arado and  the catapult.

Hi Antonio,
deine Zeichung zeigt den Startwagen (schiebbar) oder auch Startschlitten genannt.
Davon waren 2 Stück an Bord.
Diese wurden benutzt um das Flugzeug von Katapult zu starten, auf diesen Schlitten wurden das Flugzeug daraufgesetzt. Die Arado hatte dafür 3 Aufnahmepunkte am Rumpf.
Dann gleitete der Startschlitten bzw. wurde gezogen auf der Rollbahn des Katapults dahin.

you are simply FANTASTIC my friend.... many, many thanks, ... that is exactly what I needed for my modeler  friend :  it is  just PERFECT !!!

Now he can make a very perfect 1/72 diorama of the Tirpitz Arado 196 on the launching area at midship Tirpitz.
