Ital. Passagierdaempfer "Victoria" - Lt Ewald Dewes

Dear all,
sorry but I cannot properly write in German.

I am working on the Italian liner "Victoria". She left Taranto the 23rd January 1942 for Tripoli, with "Monginevro", "Monviso" and two more Italian merchant ships, so setting the T.18 convoy up. Escort was given by the battleship "Duilio" group, at a certain distance, by the cruiser "Aosta" group, nearer, and by two destroyers squadrons.
"Victoria" was sunk in the evening of 24th January by two torpedo-bombers attacks.

I know that there were two German companies forming the Marsch-Bataillon "Koblenz", numbering 400 or 405 officers, ncos and soldiers. Some died, but most were saved by Italian destroyers "Camicia nera", "Ascari" and "Aviere". Leutnant Ewald Dewes was commander of the I./ Kp and TransportFuehrer of the M-Batl.
I am looking for infos on Leutnant Dewes (maybe his Dienstlaufbahn), and especially for the photos he shot during the sinking. Maybe they have been transmitted to higher commands, and could be in some Nara rolls. I have searched in the Bundesarchiv photo database, but with no results. I don't know if the pictures of Rommel papers contain such pictures, but if somebody has seen thos collections might remember if there were some pictures of a liner sinking or of the escorts rescueing.
