hi, Platon,

Zitat von: Urs Heßling am 25 Oktober 2020, 19:31:28
The operation must have taken place in the night 12/13 July.
KTB 3rd flotilla refers to KTB 7th flotilla (regrettably not available) for description of that action, as SO 7th flotilla was the Senior officer in tactical command
Participating boats
- 3rd flotilla: 3 boats, S 30, S 36, S 55 (all others inoperable)
- 7th flotilla: 4 boats, S 151, S 152, S 154 (damaged in action). S 155
I have to make a correction: the 4 boats of 7th flotilla were S 151, S 152, S 155, S 157

According to Darius DEFE sheets, S 154 did not reach the area before 13.07. noon

greetings, Urs

Hello Urs,

Correction noted, many thanks. Do you have any info of Schnellboote encountering submarines (friend or foe) during July-August 1943? I think one was seen by 3rd Flotilla on 11 July (probably the Italian Argo). Any other?

All the best,

Platon
