sieht Prima aus.  Sehr gute Arbeit!

Gruß Roland.

Bullitt

Hello everybody,

@ Bullit,

A-Anton turret camo upfront needs some camo scheme to be added as far as I see ..... :O/Y

You can refer my model and the existing photos, ... or just ask me in case ...  since I have researched and created that camo scheme myself years ago ...

Hello Antonio, i can`t see missing camo on Turret A / Anton on my TP, by the way your TP Model iss awesome ;-)

Baunummer 509

Hi,

i think Antonio means the dark gray color between the barrels of A turret.

(below the starboard barrel of A turret)

Bullitt

Hello everybody,

@ Thomas,

many thanks for your nice compliment my friend  :O/Y.

@ Jot Dora,

you are right, I ment the camo pattern in the front of A-Anton turret between the 2 guns, it was a triangle in dark grey. Also on the front of D turret there was a camo pattern, but I cannot see the model photos there.

@ Bullit,

I am attaching for you a reference photo.

I can imagine from were you are taking your references, but there are many errors on it currently since I created/made that camo patterns drawing on 2004.
My model was done the year after on 2005 and you can see the progresses and the differences on my updated knowledge of that camo scheme.
So my model is surely a better reference compared to the drawing you are using that I created/made before my model was made.

For example on the " Bruckendeck " you made correctly white on the port side but than you painted on light grey on the starboard side and that is wrong, ... it was white on both sides, ... it is the same colour both sides because it is the same camo pattern across the Bruckendeck were the 20 mm vierling was placed.

Another correction is about the 3rd anchor on the bow, since you placed the radar FuMo26 with large matress antenna on your model, ... consequently I can see it is after September 1943, ... and at that point Tirpitz was not having anymore the third anchor on the bow that was lost during the X-Craft attack on September 22nd, 1943.

If you need other help on the camo as well as on the ship evolution just let me know, ...  I love to help modeler being a modeler myself, ... and I am currently making 7 models of Tirpitz on scale 1/350 Tamiya with photo etched parts, ... with all camo and technical evolutions, ... so I am hot about it on this period, ...  but you need to tell me in which period you are making your model, is 1943 or 1944 ???  And which month ???

            Bye / Gruss  Antonio  :MG:

Bullitt

Hello Antonio,
thank you for the Picture  :BangHead: - i try to paint the A Turret with the right Triangle camo in the Front... :KS/:
I wish, i have seen the this picture earlier

it´s to late - i can`t painting the rest of the structure - it`s to complex, to change now the color from the "Brückendeck"

My reference is the Pic from J.Asmussen (Bismarck-class.dk)

The TP should looks like in 1944 .
With fantasy 3rd Anchor :biggre: :biggre: Look`s better :MZ:
