BOOT 128

 Can anybody help please ?I have a letter from a sailor to home Feldpost number M 41096  BOOT 128 . Would this be U-BOOT 128 or another ship.

Fp.Nr. 41096 was assigned to U 128.

According the booklet "Die Feldpostnummern der deutschen Unterseeboote 1939-1945" by Olaf Steckel, after the loss of   U128 in May 1943, the same Feldpost number was re-assigned to U1064.

Thankyou both . I was not sure if this was U 128. The letter is dated 20.7.41 and he told his wife he had made one trip and was preparing for another and they were both secret. Would they have just been sea trials?
