Hello,

Since I am allready collecting Kriegsmarine documents, photo's and awards for over 3 years now, I decided to "upgrade" my collection with something else.
I have seen a very interresting Summer Tunic for a Kriegsmarine Unteroffizier.
The rank insignia indicate that he was a Stuckmeister/Feldwebel.
I unfortunatly can't post any photo's yet, because my normal computer is still broken and I don't have the photo's of the uniform anymore.
I am going to see it in real on the 29th of August, because I really want to buy it, and to have something to take care of!
And I don't want to buy something just via internet, I would rather like to see it in real.
But, I also have a question.
I have looked on google and other sites about ranks of the Kriegsmarine, but I am unable to find anything about "Stuckmeister".
Is there anyone who could tell me more about this, or has photo examples of this rank being worn on a uniform?

With kind regards,

Koen!  :O/Y

First, I'm no expert and haven't heard of this rank before but I think what you really mean is "Stückmeister".
Maybe you can try google (with the different spelling) which might lead you to these Rank symbols in the high seas fleet.
According Meyers 1905 and Brockhaus 1911 lexica "Stückmeister" was a navel rank equal to a [wiki]Feldwebel[/wiki] for someone responsible for guns ("Stücke").

Hope I could help.

Hello,

Thank you very much for the information, it helped me very much, I want the uniform even more now!
If anyone is interrested in it, I could post photo's of it as soon as I have it.  :-)
Furthermore, I would also like to complete the whole uniform.
When I'm buying the uniform, I would have the White Service Tunic, and the White service trousers.
But, were there also other specific uniform parts, like a Summer belt (and buckle), or other special Summer uniform Accessories?
I know that there is a White Summer visor cap, but I don't know if there are any other uniform parts except tunic, trousers and a visor cap.

With kind regards,

Koen.
