KT 11 double sinking

Hi all,

Few months ago I got from René the detailed report of the KT 22 sinking in Reggio.

Now I'm doing researches on the Messina harbour and the sinking of the KT 11.
The KT 11 was nearly sunken by air bombing in Reggio Calabria on 6 may 1943 then recovered and transferred in Messina for repairing. On 25/5/1943 was again bombed and completely destroyed while in dock.

I would really appreciate any german detailed report (maybe from KTB) of these two events.

Der Hafen Reggio wurde am 07.05.1943 von 4 mot-Bombern in 2 Wellen angegriffen. KT 11 erhielt dabei 3 Bombentreffer und konnte nach Fluten der achteren Munitionskammer und Löschen der Brände im Hafen auf Strand gesetzt werden.

Laut Seetransportchef Italien, wurde KT 11 dann am 15.05.1943 von Reggio nach Messina geschleppt.

Any information on its loss in Messina?
Digging into the Stuttgart website I was not able to understand the organization of the Seetransportchef Italien. Unfortunately the Kriegstransporter chapter is one of the few missing.
How the KT fleet under the command of Seetransportchef Italien was organized? In flotillas? and the KT 11?

Die meisten Kriegstransporter waren Handelsschiffe mit einer zivilen Besatzung. Sie hatten zu ihrem Schutz eine Flakmannschaft an Bord. Die Schiffe wurde bereedert durch die Mittelmeer-Reederei. Der Seetransportchef bestimmte nur, von wo und wohin das Schiffe fuhr und welche Ladung es an Bord hatte. Sie gehörten nicht in irgendwelche Flottillen. Einige wenige Kriegstransporter gehörten der Kriegsmarine (hauptsächlich im Schwarzen Meer und Ägäis), diese wurden jedoch meistens in U-Jäger umgebaut.

Given that I'm a newbie of German records  a last question... 

Where is kept a report like you posted me months ago?

Here in Italy the main archive is located at the USMM (Historical dept. of italian Navy) where, among the others, there is a separate folder for nearly every vessel who operated in WWII (merchant and navy).

In Germany, are these records kept at the Bundesarchiv?
