Schiffswrack bei Lesbos

In einem griechischen Forum (Shipfriends.gr) wurde von einem Wrack gemeldet das man aus der Meeresoberfläche zum Teil sehen kann. Es liegt an der nordöstlichen Seite der Insel am Kap Korakas.
Es handelt sich wahrscheinlich um den Motorsegler "Agios Nikolaos Syros 262", vom polnischen U-Boot "Sokol" am 12.12.43 versenkt.

I don't think that this is any of the vessels sunk by SOKOL. According to her patrol report the sinking took place around 39o40 N / 25o50 E (some 15 Nm off Turkish Dalyan) while position of the wreck (if I get it right) is around 39o23 N / 26o20 E

I can`t give you the exact co-ordinates of this wreck. Anyway, I couldn`t find (in a list of 2000 vessels) any other M.S. sunk in that area.

The exact coordinates are not needed. The difference between the presumable place of the sinking of AGIOS NIKOLAOS and Cape Korakas is around 30 Nm from. In fact SOKÓŁ was never even close to that point.
Anyway the vessel does not necessarily need to be from WWII
