25.04.1941 in Porto Helli von deutschen Flugzeugen versenkt
30.6.1941 wurde das Wrack zur Prise erklärt ?

Ich habe den Datensatz im HMA nicht gefunden, vielleicht gab es noch eine Namensänderung?

Gibt es über die letzten Besitzer und die Umstände des Unterganges nähere Informationen?

Dear Ferenc, PETROS was indeed raised on German account. I have read somewhere that she was scrapped in 1941 in Piraeus but this is wrong. She was taken to Salonica where she was scuttled during the German retreat. Her wreck was scrapped decades later by Brodospas, having been a hazard to navigation as at least two motor-sailing ships hit her.

Dounis lists her in "Shipwrecks in the Greek Seas" as PETROS POTAMIANOS althought "Potamianos" was not part of her name. She was named after the father of the owner. woher hast du diese Information? Kannst du die Quelle bzw. die Fundstelle nennen?

Dimitri, the information on PETROS being sunk at Liviana in Salonica can be find in both "Shipwrecks in the Greek Seas- Volume 1" as well as in the original records of the Wreck Salvage Organisation (OAN). Her transfer to Salonica is self evident by the fact that she was found there. The groundings that occured on the wreck are reported in Dounis - Volume I and II. The scrapping of the wreck by Brodospas is documented in various contemporary newspapers.
I attach a photo from the removal of the final pieces of PETROS.

Es ist natürlich selbstverständlich, dass die PETROS in Saloniki sich befand als sie versenkt wurde. Ich hatte nur gehofft dass du eine Info über das wann, wie, wieso und von wem, hattest.
