was wondering on this ships off-shore bombardment(s) for March of 1945, was the date - 23rd ? or other dates included in the month with I believe the Prinz Eugen and others.

~ this was in the area of Gotenhafen (?)

According to Siegfried Breyer, "Marine-Arsenal 28 - Die Kreuzer Leipzig und Nürnberg", Leipzig was used as a floating battery against targets in the Gotenhafen area from march 10th till 24th.
During this time turrets A and C fired 896 salvos. Then all ammo was gone, Leipzig left the area and went to Denmark.

But according to WLB Stuttgart Leipzig attacked soviet troops from the 25th on.
