Radar identification on TA 19

ein gesundes Neues Jahr allen!
Thx für den Hinweis unten. Hier der link zum Bild des U-Jägers UJ 2221 ex. "VESPA" 1944, welcher am Mastausleger ein ähnliches Gerät trug ... Unten ein Bildausriss.

Ja, in der Tat, und etwas mehr unten am Mast dann m.E. doch deutlich erkennbar auch ein "Sumatra"-Antennchen

Ich habe den relevanten Ausschnitt kontrastiert und versucht, eine Antennenstruktur einzuzeichnen (gelb). Jo, sieht in der Tat wie ein FuMB Ant. 4 "Sumatra" aus ... ...

Hello Olpe,
I noticed also the same radar on UJ 2221 and I think other UJs received that radar. Becasue this discussion is very interesting, I add a photo from my collection that is bothering since 2014. I think we are in Genova in 1944. There is a ship (behind a KT and behind some harbour infrastructures) that I cannot identify (please help me!!!!!!!!) with a radar just behind the funnel. I think the radar is a GUFO GIII. As far as I know the GUFO GIII was installed only on some UJs (ex french trawler, like UJ 2207), but this doens' like an UJ (maybe a ship from 6. Sicherungsflottille??)..... anybody could identify the ship? I know is very difficult, but in this furum there are some real expert.

in background so called Nachtjagdleitschiff KRETA with Würzburg- and Freya-equipment. Right a Kriegstransporter/KT-Schiff. This kind of (Italian)camo I have not in my register.
